Friends, I have been reading a book called "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan. . .super good/Biblical/challenging, I expected nothing less from this amazing pastor in Southern California (fun fact: he spoke at Fall Retreat my freshmen year. . .oh the memories!), the way in which he passionately takes God at His word is amazing. Anyways, here's a quote I've been mulling over today:
"The irony is that while God doesn't need us but still wants us, we desperately need God but don't really want Him most of the time."
Ouch.

Isn't it great? Are you finished with it yet? I LOVED it; and it truly just convicted me of making sure that He is at the forefront and center of every aspect of my life! And, since Francis is the pastor at my home church, I just felt like I could hear him preaching the words right off the page. He has such an amazing talent of making the gospel real and vivid for our lives.
